FOREWARD

OUR THIRD Year -1961- marks a milestone in the short history of Ganesha High School. The campus finally appears as though it is here to stay. Where, little more than three years ago, there were open fields, today there are modern buildings and spacious lawns.

Even more important, this year's graduating class is the first to have matriculated as sophomores at Ganesha. When this year's seniors cane to G.H.S. as sophomores, in the fall of 1958, they wandered, lost, through the unfinished halls, dodging the carpenters and masons who were adding the finishing touches to the school. This year, these lost sophomores of three years ago found their way to the graduation platform. The Class of 1961 will be the first class to be fully representative of the fine traditions and high standards of Ganesha High School.
